GEORGINA ANNE TAYLOR
I'm an Australian writer and artist, with a Bachelor of Visual Arts, majoring in Photography from the Queensland College of Art, Griffith University.

I've worked as everything and anything, in my quest to avoid sitting in an office. Interesting jobs include: technical officer for the photomedia workshop, at the Canberra School of Art, A.N.U, domestic cleaner, gardener, nurses aide in various aged-care, dementia wards. I've also worked as a personal care assistant in a facility for incapacitated alcoholics, a professional photographer, darkroom technician, tutor, lecturer, and co-owner of a gallery/cafe/restaurant.
I now live on an organic farm in southern Tasmania, with my husband, two children, and a hoard of unruly dogs, ducks, chickens and goats.
About my writing:
I was represented by Lyn Tranter of Australian Literary Management from 2007 to 2011, when I decided to become an 'indie writer'. Sorrow's Child, is my first novel. I'm currently working on two books: Bewitchments and Betrayals, the second instalment in The Taint series, and Terra, a dystopian novel, set in a post-climate change Australia, in an area now known as the Blue Mountains.
